Polymarket Whale Tracker

Every trade of $1,000 or more on Polymarket, as it settles — with the record of the wallet that made it, so a big position reads as evidence rather than as a number.

What counts as a whale trade

A single fill worth $1,000 or more.

The threshold applies to one trade, not to a position built up over several, and it is a fixed dollar amount rather than a percentile of current activity — what qualifies today qualifies next quarter, and a quiet week does not promote small trades into the tracker. Trades are read from Polymarket’s live feed and verified on-chain.

The full measurement rules — how win rate is computed, when it is withheld, and what the numbers cannot tell you — are written down in the methodology.

How to use the tracker

From a trade, to its market, to the wallet behind it.

  • Start from a trade. The live tape lists every qualifying trade as it settles: who traded, the direction and outcome, the size, and the trader’s one-line record.
  • Open the market. Every row links to its market page, where the trade sits next to the market’s other whale flow. Or browse all tracked markets ranked by whale volume.
  • Inspect the wallet. A trade is only as interesting as the record behind it. The trader page carries PnL, win rate with its sample, volume, breadth, and every whale trade the wallet has made — the leaderboard ranks them.

How to evaluate a whale

Size says how much moved. The wallet’s record says whether to care.

A $1,000 position from a wallet that wins 60% of hundreds of decided positions means something different from the same position made by a wallet on its third trade. PolyTrace reads every wallet on four measures: PnL (realised and unrealised), win rate over the trailing 180 days — withheld below 20 decided positions rather than shown as zero — volume, and breadth across markets, combined into a 0–100 PolyTrace Score. Each term is defined in the glossary.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Polymarket whale tracker?

A tool that records the largest trades on Polymarket prediction markets and shows who made them. PolyTrace records every single fill worth $1,000 or more from Polymarket's live feed, then attaches the measured record of the wallet behind it — profit and loss, win rate with its sample size, volume, and a 0-100 PolyTrace Score — so a large trade can be read against the history of whoever made it.

How current is the data on this page?

Trades arrive over Polymarket’s live WebSocket feed, and this page is rendered at request time, so the trades and totals shown reflect the tracker’s state at the moment the page loaded. Trader profiles refresh on a tiered schedule, the busiest wallets every five minutes.

Can the tracker tell me who a whale is?

No. Profiles key on Polymarket proxy wallets — the addresses Polymarket exposes publicly — not on anyone’s identity or main wallet. The tracker shows a wallet’s measured record, and one person may control several wallets without PolyTrace linking them.

Does following whale trades make money?

Not by itself. The figures describe past trades: a large position can be conviction, a hedge, an exit, or a mistake, and even strong wallets lose often — most measurable wallets land between 45% and 65% win rate. PolyTrace publishes each figure with the sample behind it so you can judge how much a record proves. Nothing here is financial advice.

Why do some whale trades show no trader record?

Because the wallet is new to the tracker or its history is still syncing. PolyTrace distinguishes “we have not looked yet” from “we looked and found nothing”, and withholds a win rate below 20 decided positions rather than showing a number it cannot stand behind.

How every figure on this page is computed is set out in the methodology; the terms are defined in the glossary.
